UNCOMMON AND UNFINISHED

Judee and Jon’s Masks is a story about how two children deal with the challenges of the COVID19 Pandemic and getting accustomed to the new norms of wearing face masks. Judee embraces masks as a fun new accessory and uses her imagination and creativity to design stylish masks. Jon is not as excited about wearing a mask. To Jon, masks are uncomfortable and ugly. He resists them as long as he can until he finally accepts how important they are for keeping him safe and healthy. Judee and Jon’s Masks will help young readers understand that masks can be fun, unique and stylish, and will re-enforce the importance of protecting themselves in the midst of the pandemic. All proceeds are donated to fill the needs of the community.
